WIth the SMAN3 you also get a built-in micron gauge with resolution from 50 to 9,999. On top of that, the SMAN3's exclusive micron alarm allows you to set the alarm to a chosen micron level, and when the vacuum reaches that level, the alarm will sound, freeing you up to keep working when pulling a vacuum.

Made my life so much easier.i don't have to crack my head to do any calculation.everything is built in.The best invention in life.they should have come up with this long ago...i wouldn't have aged so much.

I have used it for over a year, the blue leads break, bury I have never paid for a new one. I have had both testo and digicool and this one beats them both in my book.
update: unit screen started to go in and out after one year. Still the best.... Update: still nice set but have owned five sets in the past two years in our small company... They break EEEEEASSSYYY..

This is a time and trip saver, one tool to ensure proper charges by superheat or subcooling, evacuation without hooking up another device, and not worrying if the bourdon tube in the gauges is getting worn out, the gauges are digital and easy to read even in bright light! I only wish it would have come with hoses! A real value in my mind, and I don't mind putting the cover back on each time, saves my investment and keeps unwanted eyes from realizing what's inside!
