Awesome little machine. Especially for the price. If you're not opposed to manually cranking this product, it beats the hell out of a razor knife. So far I've been using it mostly to clear the shop floor of short reels of 10 and 12 solid and stranded. Haven't had much luck getting romex to pass through right but I think It's operator error more so than mechanical shortcoming. It's a really simple machine, made of cast iron. Very little to go wrong with it. Keep grease in the gears and blades on the shaft and it should last a lifetime.

Worked good. Waiting to see how long it will hold up to the abuse. Had to put electric motor on for larger wire.

I am in the electrical industry and get about 30 pounds of scrap copper a week. I realized that I was throwing away money by not stripping what I had. After spending days online researching and debating spending up to $2,000 on an electric model I ended up deciding on this 808. I am so happy. The product is amazing. It auto adjust which is huge and really works great. I would highly recommend this to anyone looking for a stripper. If you are on the fence as I was, let this review make your decision. Also, I was given a 2 week expected shipping range. It got to me in 3 days.
